Description: Alshoala procured custom made acoustic flow meters from Siemens in 2013, but due to the security situation, they have not been installed for several years. In November 2018 our engineers visited all of the sites, carried out all needed mechanical and electrical works and successfully commissioned procured acoustic flow meters.
Project Title: PCS 7 for Man Made River (Tarhona-Aboyaian) Pump station

Description: Reprogramming of control system in order to replace corrupted/faulty existing program. DCS is based on Siemens PCS7 and has upgraded operational and management capabilities with one engineering and three client stations. New communication network between pump station 1, pump station 2 and reservoir was established using 3 Siemens SCALANCE switches.
Importance of the Site: This site is providing 800.000 cubic meters of water per day for the large part of western Libya.
Project Title: Replacement of Motor Drives and Control System for Water Treatment Plant

Description: Project includes the replacement of two Motor Drives (Siemens G150 Convertors) for 350kW motors, including the engineering, supply and installation of a new control system and associated HMI.
Project Title: Extension of water pipeline control system
Client: Great Man Made River Authority (GMMRA)
Site: Benghazi
Description: Design of an extension to the existing control system for a water conveyance system, including the erection of a new Local Control Centre, complete with all telecommunication systems, computer room environment including ELV systems such as Access Control, Fire Alarm and suppression, structured cabling system and remote system monitoring.
Project Title: Forbay Water Storage Tank Automation and Control System

Description: Complete design, installation, programming, testing, commissioning and startup of the Forbay Tank SCADA and Automation System. Hardware used included Simatic Step 7 300 CPU, 3x ET200S Remote I/Os, 2xET200M Station, 1x Pressure Transmitter, 2x Ultrasonic level transmitters, 2x Level Switches, 1x Electromagnetic Flowmeter, 2x Rotork Actuator Valves and 3x Huma valves. HMI through KTP1000 Basic Color Panel 10”.

Description: Complete design, installation, programming, testing, commissioning and startup of a Sewage pumping station control system. Hardware used included Simatic Step 7 1200 CPU, 8x Soft starters 6x 75kW & 2x 11kW. HMI through KTP600 Basic Color Panel.
Project Title: Sewage Treatment Plant Control System

Description: Programming, Modification, commissioning and startup of control system for 3 pumping stations and treatment plant. Each pumping station equipped with the following hardware: Step 7 300 main controller, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and soft starters. Main Treatment plant divided in 6 areas, connected through fiber optic cabling.
Project Title: Tarhona Agricultural Water Utilization Project
Client: Great Man Made River Authority (GMMRA)
Site: Tarhona
Description: Modification, programming, testing, commissioning and startup of PLC and communication system between 2 main water storage tanks. Communication was done through SITOP Modules over copper cable spanning a distance of approximately 10km. System also consisted of various flowmeters, level transmitters and pressure transmitters.
Project Title: Sewage Pumping Station Control Panel

Description: Design, Installation, testing and commissioning of a sewage control panel consisting of 4 soft starters rated at 12kW each. Main controller Step 7 1200 w/Basic Color Panel KTP 600 HMI.
